Govee For Every Mood of Home
Product launch film for Govee's smart home lighting ecosystem that adapts to the emotional rhythms of everyday life.
Govee For Every Mood of Home
Told entirely from the family dog's point of view, this campaign for Govee follows one household through an ordinary day — mornings, meltdowns, movie nights, the small emotional swings that make up home life. As the mood of the house shifts, Govee's lighting shifts with it: warm ambient tones easing into colorful bursts of energy, then settling into soft practical whites. The lights aren't treated as tech on display — they're framed as something closer to a quiet, responsive presence in the room.
The entire film was shot on a custom-built set in Ho Chi Minh City, giving full control over architecture, lighting, and camera movement while keeping the tone intimate and lived-in rather than staged. With kids, a dog, and live lighting cues all needing to hit their marks in the same take, the shoot demanded tight choreography behind a loose, natural-feeling result. In post, AI was used selectively — refining specific performance and timing beats between real photographed frames, rather than generating imagery from scratch — to hold that spontaneity together under a compressed schedule.
